To compliment our participation in the Fluid Drive repair market, PowerFlow Engineering has entered into the manufacture of the heat exchanger tube bundle used with the Cls 6, size 171, 171A, 198, 198A, 212, & 212A BFP Fluid Drives. These parts were slated for documentation over a year ago, and passed onto our Product Improvement Team, in conjunction with our product consultants to evaluate the historical operational performance of the tube bundle. We have re-engineered the tube bundle to provide you with longer life.

PowerFlow Engineering produces these tube bundles to TEMA Standards, so you do not compromise safety and quality for less cost and lead time. We guarantee our tube bundles will perform as well as or better than your original bundles. Our tube bundles are dimensionally interchangeable, cost-effective, and reliable. We are interchangeable with ITT, Ross, and American Standard heat exchanger tube bundles.

Tube Bundle Repair

Not only do we manufacture new tube bundles, we also repair them. Our engineering processing department along with our QC Department will test your tube bundle inside a shell the same as that contained within your BFP Fluid Drive for leaks. Tube bundles are pressure tested at 225 psi. each tube is independently reviewed for structural soundness as well as the tube sheet joint for each tube.

PowerFlow Engineering carries a stock of parts to replace tubes, tube sheets, baffles and water inlet/outlet channels..

Tube Bundle Testing

Once testing is complete, we will provide a thorough high pressure steam cleaning to the bundle to remove tarnish build-up restoring the tube surface and “heat transfer coe-efficient” to the tube bundle.
