Role: Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Westland, Michigan
About PowerFlow
PowerFlow Engineering, Inc. is a service company that provides diagnostics, rebuild/repair, and onsite consulting services for rotating equipment in the Power Utility Industry. Most notably fluid drives and torque converters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge in machine repair
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to read engineering prints/drawings, and follow technical manuals
- Skillful in using precision inspection equipment
- Capable of evaluating defective parts
- Knowledge of rigging, use of overhead cranes and cutting torches
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:
- Problem solving
- Computer skills
- Good communication and written skills
STRONGLY DESIRED:
- Technical Degree/Certification
- Must be a team player, safety conscious, capable of taking the initiative of own work and willing to get the job done
- Excellent driving record
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Maintenance and or Auto/Truck Mechanic 2 years
- High School or equivalent
Job Type:
Full-time Salary: Hourly

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
- Occasional field service travel
